Becoming a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) is an exciting opportunity for you to apply your nursing expertise to legal issues. As a Legal Nurse Consultant, you bring specialized health care education and clinical experience to the legal system. Specifically, legal nurse consultants provide medical record reviews and analysis and conduct medical research, identify and apply standards of care and legal requirements, educate attorneys about unique medical issues in the case, and help retain medical experts.

Additionally, many LNCs practice as an independent consultant and expert witnesses. Some are employed by law firms, insurance companies, government, etc.

This course comprehensively covers everything in the Legal Nurse Consulting textbook (by AALNC) and much more! Furthermore, it provides you with step-by-step guidance on how to analyze medical-legal issues in a case and write a strong and thorough report.
